‘Bealtaine' Sustainable Print Workshops with Artist Karen Browett at Dublin Print Club Studio

Dublin Print Club Studio hosted an intensive printmaking weekend in studio over the May Bank Holiday weekend with master printmaker and fine artist Karen Browett.

Karen’s extensive creative practice draws on interests in sustainable art making practices combining printmaking and experimental photographic image making.

Karen led an experimental Cyanotype workshop on Saturday May 2nd in which participants created botanical and photo based images using the rays of the sun, then applying organic plant toners to create alternative colours in their final images.

The Anthotype workshop on Sunday May 3rd, led by Karen- focused on organic ink production and image making using natural materials which participants then took home to create long exposure images.
