Sinéad McC is a graduate of NCAD and has had an extensive career as a designer in the fashion industry. She now uses screen-printing as part of her creative practice. Her work is inspired mostly by her home city of Dublin and it is sometimes hidden art, history and stories. Her process comes from a love of sketching and intricate details, and a curiosity to learn more about her city.

Sinéad’s process begins by taking her own photos to manipulate and develop to tell a story or make a statement. Colour, text and hand drawn line all play an important part in creating her work which often tells a story or portrays a political message.
